Dune solar

Dune Solar Pty(Ltd) is an Independent Power Producer based 25 Km west of Saldanha harbour located on the R27 near the Elandsfontein nature reserve.  It is in the process of developing a 130MW solar energy power plant in partnership with our approved EPC, German partners and banks, and Local and International Private Equity Firms.

Construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2022 with excess power generated being fed into the national grid by the beginning of third quarter of 2022.  The company has concluded an Power Purchase agreement for the supply of electricity with Hydrogen X the 100% owner of the project to supply the hydrogen and the Ammoniac to international buyers exported through the Saldanha harbour.

The project will also feed the power generated in phase two of the construction back to the hydrogen reactor near the Saldanha harbour to produce green hydrogen. The product will be mostly exported to our international clients.

Outeniqua One Solar

Outeniqua One Solar Pty(Ltd) is an Independent Power Producer based 48 Km north of Mossel Bay harbour located on the R328 near the Noem-Noem Mountain Lodge.  It is in the process of developing a 150MW solar energy power plant in partnership with our approved EPC and, Local and International Private Equity Firms.

Construction is expected to start in the third quarter of 2022 with excess power generated being fed into the national grid by the beginning of first quarter of 2023.  The company has concluded a Power Purchase agreement for the supply of electricity with Hydrogen X Pty (Ltd) for export of the final product to international clients from the Mossel bay Harbour.

Algoa Wind Energy

Algoa Wind Energy Pty(Ltd) is an Independent Power Producer based 75 Km north of Port Elisabeth harbour (Gqeberha) located on the R75 near Glenconnor. It is in the process of developing a 150MW wind energy power plant in partnership with our approved EPC, an International Bank, and Local and International Private Equity Firms.

Construction is expected to start in the third quarter of 2022 with excess power generated being fed through the national grid by the beginning of first quarter of 2023. The company has concluded a Power Purchase agreement for the supply of electricity with Hydrogen X (Pty) Ltd for the production and export of the final product to international clients from the Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha).

Hydrogen production South Africa and Namibia

Hydrogeneration has entered into an agreement for the production and the supply of Green Hydrogen. The product will be mostly exported to Europe through the Saldanha, Walvis Bay, and Mossel bay harbours. The first phase of the projects will be to establish the reactor side of the hydrogen, then to refine it per client specification.
